Delicious breakfasts. The egg tortilla was very good, and so was the salad. The prices were great. The space was a bit small, but that's the nature of the place. The service was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

A very pleasant place, even though it's on the main street. The food is tasty and filling. And generous in size. You can tell it's prepared fresh. The pierogi ruskie (Russian dumplings) are slightly spicy, but paired with salad, they're fantastic. The Camembert is also delicious. Photos taken during the meal ;) The place is small with a few tables inside (mostly for two people), but there's also an option to eat outside. The service is friendly. The prices are very reasonable: 30 PLN for a main course, soup 10 PLN (set price: 35 PLN) - as of June 2025. Takeout is also available.

Przyszliśmy na śniadanie i byliśmy zachwyceni. Świetna jakość jedzenia, personel chętny do przygotowania dań spoza menu, aby zadowolić dzieci, a do tego naprawdę dobra wartość za pieniądze.

We stopped at the Nóż Widelec bistro on our way from the route, the place was highly recommended on the internet and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! This small place with huge culinary potential is simply the essence of home cooking. In every bowl and plate you could feel sincerity, love and passion! Like at grandma's house! We ate a classic and delicious tomato soup, perfectly whitened and seasoned. The second course was a chicken breast cutlet fried in flakes, then a pork chop and dumplings! The pork chop was a classic in itself, a home version, well peppery and fried perfectly in lard as it should be, and it definitely smelled like fried in lard, so everything is right. The breast cutlet is a masterpiece, crispy and delicate, I didn't have time to discover more in it, because my wife ate it faster than I did the delicious soup! Finally, the pierogi ordered by my son. Here, I managed to eat the entire pierogi and a half from my son, because the portion was really big! These were some of the best Russian pierogi I've ever eaten. The dough was delicate, not too thick. The filling had a good proportion of cottage cheese and potatoes, well-peppery and not too finely ground. Just right! And then there were the classic salads and potatoes cooked with dill, which were perfectly salted! In a word, DELICIOUS! Great service, the lady who served us was a one-woman army in the style of a master chef! Service, kitchen and she even took care of water for our dog. What more can I say, if you are in Mrągowo, MUST find KNOŻ WIDLEC and don't be fooled by the neighboring establishments, which with their large signs try to outshine the modestly hidden culinary Mecca of home cooking! Nóż Widelec is not a milk bar, it is a piece of home cooking served with taste and passion, it is a tasty lack of exaggeration in its best form, which is what everyone dreams of when they miss a home dinner. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Greetings and definitely see you! 😁🍴🇵🇱🍴
