A wonderfully atmospheric place with delicious food. Very friendly service. Kętrzyn was lacking a place like this. I highly recommend it.
Let's start with the positives – the service. The lady who served us was very nice and friendly, a real plus 🙂 Unfortunately, the food was very poor. • The pork chop was burnt black, served on the "prettier" side, as if someone was trying to hide the burn 😅 • The potato pancakes had so much flour that they resembled pancakes more than fritters. The mushroom sauce was as thin as soup and cold – the lady reheated it after pointing it out, so another plus for the staff. Unfortunately, the taste was still disappointing. • The goulash pancakes – exactly the same: the sauce was watery and bland. • Sour rye soup – okay, but you don't go to a restaurant to eat something just okay. You can try it once, but I definitely wouldn't go back for this dish. • The zapiekanka (casserole dish) was the best, but that's because it's really hard to mess up a zapiekanka. • Pierogi ruskie (Russian dumplings) – we waited about 30 minutes to finally find out they were out. On the plus side – desserts: large portions, happy kids 🙂 In summary: The waitstaff was really great, but the kitchen… unfortunately, needs replacing. Anyone at home would prepare these dishes better. It's a shame, because the place is nice, the service is great, and the food is simply awful. And you shouldn't go to a restaurant and eat something you wouldn't want to order again.

Top-quality pork chop and duck. The only downside was the cold potatoes. The salads were okay. The cheesecake was gigantic. The service was okay.
Świetne jedzenie i bardzo przyjemna atmosfera. Byłem również mile zaskoczony, jak czysto i świeżo wszystko wygląda. Nasze zamówienie zostało przyjęte natychmiast, a jedzenie bardzo szybko dostarczono do stołu. Zdecydowanie polecam, warto odwiedzić!
