Quiet and peaceful place, good food
We went for dinner on the recommendation of the gentleman from the Castle Museum, and we were not disappointed. It was a very good Polish dinner for the whole family with delicious compote at normal prices. We recommend it.
I was very disappointed with the food, even though the reviews were good. When I walked in, I immediately thought something was wrong; there wasn't a soul inside, and it was 3 p.m. The food on the menu was very cheap: soup, compote, salad, potatoes, and baked pork loin, for only 28 zloty. After ordering, I sat down and immediately received the compote. It tasted like sugar water and was discolored. There was almost no fruit flavor. The only thing that improved it was a few pieces of fruit inside. After a minute of waiting, I received the soup. Although the lady had previously said it was with rice, I ended up with it with noodles. The soup was sour, but I have no complaints about it. I did have some reservations about the second course. When it arrived, I received pork loin with cheese and vegetables. It looked nice but smelled like vomit and tasted of terribly old, rancid fat. It was one of the worst meals I've ever had. You could smell the pork loin as if it were from the cheapest shelf, though I don't know what I expected for a 28 zloty dinner. I ate about 2/3 of the entire pork loin because I was very hungry. The potatoes were tasteless. I asked for a spring salad, and what I got was a plain, cheap-quality carrot salad. It barely tasted like carrots. I took one bite and almost puked. It was so disgusting that I never tried it again. So, in summary, I don't recommend it. Cheap but disgusting. Never again.
Thank you very much for the delicious funeral dinner and the very nice service yesterday.
Friendly service, good food, I recommend it
