It's hard to describe how good the food is at Alicja's. The tripe is the best we've ever had in any restaurant. The portions are large and filling. The potato babka is heavenly, and the meat dumplings are beyond words. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good, inexpensive meal. You can eat in the garden, and the kids won't be bored, as there's a swing and a trampoline. And you can even eat some redcurrants if you haven't already eaten them.

A place with the atmosphere of a Milk Bar... but the food is delicious. Truly home-cooked meals. A wide selection, and everything is good or very good. I recommend it to hungry people looking for affordable home-cooked food!! Today's goulash with groats... amazing!! I encourage "YouTubers" to visit, it's worth it!! Updated April 26, 2024 Today I had the pleasure of trying the excellent tomato soup with pasta and pork chops in boletus sauce. I won't go into detail. You have to try it for yourself, it's WORTH IT! In my opinion, the best home-cooked food at an exceptionally reasonable price. For three tomato soups + pork chops with potatoes and salads, the bill came to 43 PLN. The soup was 6 PLN per portion, and it tasted better than most restaurants that charge 25 PLN or more. Bar Alicja is a gem in Bartoszyce!
